Decking Screws

Application: Decking screws are specifically designed for outdoor decking and exterior wood construction projects. Countersunk pozi decking screw, self countersinking with coarse thread for a faster drive time and extra holding power.

Installation:

Application: The Thunderbolt is a zinc and yellow plated or galvanised self-tapping anchor for use in a variety of base materials. Arris Rail Support Brackets

Application: The handed arris rail brackets are a heavy-duty alternative to standard arris rail brackets and used to repair existing or fix new arris rails to wooden fence posts.

Installation:

  • Fix the single flat section of the bracket to the fence post using galvanised nails or wood screws.
  • Fix the arris rail into the V section of the bracket using galvanised nails or wood screws.

Variations: These brackets are sold in pairs, one left hand and one right hand each time.

Material: Manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel.

Arris Rail Repair Brackets

Application: The arris rail repair brackets are used to complete simple and economical repairs to broken or rotten arris rails. They can also be used in new applications to avoid having to notch the fence post.

Installation:

  • Fix end wings of the bracket to the fence post using galvanised nails or wood screws.
  • Fix the arris rail into the length of the bracket using galvanised nails or wood screws.

Variations: Arris rail repair brackets come in two different lengths. 220mm long and 290mm long and both are suitable for 75mm or 100mm arris rails.

2 Pin Cleat

Application: The 2pin cleats are used for securing concrete gravel boards to precast concrete fence posts.

Installation:

  • Place the cleat pins into the precast holes in the fence post.
  • Bolt the concrete gravel board to the cleat.

Variations: Extended 2 pin cleats are used for double depth gravel boards.

Material: Manufactured from hot dipped galvanised mild steel.

Knee Rail Straps

Application: Knee rail straps are used to secure cross rails to post for knee rail fencing.

Installation:

  • Select the correct size strap and fix across each joint where two cross members intersect with a post. Fix using galvanised nails or wood screws.

Variations:

  • 75mm x 75mm cross member meeting 75mm post
  • 75mm x 75mm cross member meeting 100mm post
  • 100mm x 100mm cross member meeting 75mm post
  • 100mm x 100mm cross member meeting 100mm post

Can be supplied with one apex form or completely flat. All are supplied with ready punched fixing holes. Other sizes can be manufactured as a special order.

Post Extenders

Post extenders are used when wooden fence posts require additional length after the original fitting.

Installation:

  • Place the box section over the top of the wooden fence post, position correctly and fix using wood screws.
  • Place the extension post into the top of the box section, position correctly and fix once more using wood screws.

Post Anchors

Post anchors are used to support various sizes of timber fence posts.

Installation:

  • Position each concrete in post shoe appropriately.
  • Set into wet concrete as it is poured.
  • Support in the correct position while the concrete hardens.
  • Fasten the timber fence post using the bolts provided.

Arris Rail Mortice Adapter

The arris rail mortice adaptor is used when you need to connect a wooden arris rail to a concrete fence post.

Installation:

  • Push the mortice adaptor into the pre-cast mortice slot in the concrete fence post.
  • Align and attach the wooden arris rail to the mortice adaptor using galvanised nails or wood screws.

Material:

Manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel.

Fence Panel Clips

Application: Fence panel clips are used to secure fence panels to wooden fence posts.

Installation:

  • Find and mark vertically down the centre of the fence post.
  • Use the guide line to fix the fence panel clips in the required position using galvanised nails or wood screws.
  • The fence panels can then be slotted into the clips and fastened with galvanised nails or wood screws.

Variations: To suit:

  • 38mm, 44mm, and 50mm panels
  • Available in either standard or heavy duty material
  • Other sizes can be manufactured as a special order

Gravel Board Brackets

Application: Gravel board brackets are used for securing wooden or concrete gravel boards to wooden fence posts.

Installation:

  • Fix the gravel board bracket to the wooden fence post using galvanised nails or wood screws.
  • Slide the gravel boards in from the top.

Variations:

  • 150mm x 50mm with or without retaining lip for concrete gravel board.
  • 250mm x 50mm with or without retaining lip for concrete gravel board.
  • 150mm x 25mm for timber gravel board.

Material: Manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel.

Fence Post Spike

Application: The fence post spike range are used to support various sizes of timber fence posts.

Installation:

  • Position each fence post spike in the appropriately.
  • Drive the fence post spike into the ground using a lump or sledge hammer.
  • Ensure the fence post spike remains square to run of fence panels you are installing and does not twist.
  • Drive all the way into the ground until only the box section is visible.
  • Fasten the timber fence post using the securing bolts provided.

Variations: To suit:

  • 50mm x 50mm post – 450mm spike
  • 75mm x 75mm post – 600mm spike
  • 75mm x 75mm post – 750mm spike
  • 100mm x 100mm post – 750mm spike

Drive In Repair Spike

Application: The drive in repair spike range are used to support various sizes of timber fence posts where the original post has rotted away.

Installation:

  • Cut back the rotten timber post to ground level.
  • Place the tip of the drive-in repair spike against the outside edge of the old post and drive it all the way down to ground level.
  • Fasten the timber post with the bolts provided.

Variations: To suit:

  • 75mm x 75mm post
  • 100mm x 100mm post

Bolt Down

Application: The bolt down shoe range are used to support various sizes of timber fence posts.

Installation:

  • Position each bolt down shoe appropriately.
  • Mark each hole position and drill into substrate.
  • Use 4 no sleeve anchor style fixings to secure the bolt down shoe to the ground.
  • Fasten the timber fence post using the securing bolts provided.

Variations: To suit:

  • 50mm x 50mm post
  • 75mm x 75mm post
  • 100mm x 100mm post
  • 150mm x 150mm post

Flush Fit Bolt Down: The Flush Fit Bolt Down Fence Post support is essentially the same product as the standard Bolt Down, however two opposing sides of the fixing base plate have been cropped back to allow for installation tight against interfering objects such as walls. You can see a picture in the gallery. This style of Bolt Down is available in 3″ x 3″ and 4″ x 4″.
